The MVC5 Web Application is experiencing visual issues when being accessed on the intranet post deployment

After deploying an MVC5 Web Application on a server running IIS7, the site appears correctly when accessed from the server's IE10 browser. However, viewing it from another machine's IE10 on the same network results in the site becoming distorted, indicating a possible CSS issue.

The same issue occurs when deploying the application on a local machine. It functions properly when accessed from the local machine's IE10, but becomes distorted when viewed from a different machine on the network.

Interestingly, the site works perfectly on Google Chrome in both scenarios.

Could there be a configuration or setting in IIS that needs to be adjusted?

Answer №1

I recently implemented a code snippet on my website.

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10.0" />

Everything seems to be running smoothly now.

Kudos to @lonian316 for suggesting that this could be the problem.
