I'm encountering an issue depicted in the screenshot below. Is this related to bootstrap or leaflet? How can I adjust the position/style of the dropdown menu so that it appears above all other elements?

It seems like the leaflet zoom buttons are taking precedence over the dropdown menu due to their z-index.
Perhaps adjusting the z-index of the dropdown menu will bring it to the top and resolve the issue with the zoom buttons.
This issue is similar to what was reported in Leaflet bug #3690: where the map fails to establish a stacking context, causing the z-index of the controls' container to affect the stacking order of the map's siblings.
To address this, consider applying CSS to your map container to explicitly create a stacking context.
