Is there a clever CSS technique that allows a div to extend all the way to the bottom of the screen without displaying any visible content inside?
Or am I better off using JavaScript for this purpose?
Thank you, Richard

You could experiment with using min-height:100%;
.
Just bear in mind that not all browsers support this property :( It's also important to ensure it is applied to all parent elements of the div.
It's challenging to achieve full browser support for a 100% height container using only CSS. However, there are clever workarounds such as utilizing background images that align with your website's template.
Alternatively, you can implement some JavaScript code to dynamically set your div to fill the entire height.
