I have a container set to a maximum width of 80%, but when the text inside extends beyond that, the container remains stuck at 80% instead of adjusting its size accordingly. Can anyone provide a solution for this issue?

If you could provide the code instead of a picture, it would be extremely helpful. From what I gather, if less than 80% of the block width is filled, then the block should adjust to the content width - is that correct? Here's an illustration:
<div class="example">
This text can be enlarged and will still adhere to the 80% maximum.
</div>
.example {
background: red;
max-width: 80%;
display: inline-block;
}
Please let me know if my interpretation is accurate. Thank you.
