The login image seems to be frozen on the Bootstrap dashboard of sb admin

For the last couple of hours, I've been attempting to replace the image on the login page with something different than a dog. Despite scouring through all the files, both css and scss, and updating the link everywhere, that pesky dog continues to show up! I even went as far as deleting parts of the code, but the dog persists in its place. Clearing the browser cache didn't solve the issue either. Any suggestions on what might be causing this stubborn dog to linger and what steps should I take next?

Answer №1

The reason for this issue can be attributed to either a local or server-side cache. It is crucial to always execute a hard refresh on your browser in order to view any recent changes you have made to your code, particularly when modifying CSS files.

To initiate a hard refresh, simply press Ctrl + Shift + R
