Trouble with Setting a Background Image in Ionic with Javascript and Angular

I'm having trouble getting my background image to display in this Ionic project using CSS. It works when I embed it directly into the HTML, but that's not an ideal solution. I vaguely recall something about using base64 for images, but I'm not certain. Could someone shed some light on what may be causing this issue? Appreciate any help.

Answer №1

Organize the desired images in the www/img directory of your project and customize their appearance in the HTML file.

Here is an illustration:

 <ion-content style="background: url(img/picture.jpg) center; background-size: cover;">

Answer №2

It's possible that the image file path you are using is incorrect. Have you tried moving your images from the www folder to the img folder, or from the css folder into the img folder? Here's an example of how it should look:

www/img/myImage.png

or

../img/myImage.png

Remember, when including files in your application, always consider the root folder as www.
