Increasing the height of a div in a vertical direction

Having an issue with divs not expanding vertically when there are anchors with padding inside.

The explanation isn't the clearest, so I've recreated the problem here: http://jsfiddle.net/uF6KN/3/. Essentially, I want the blue anchors to align with the top of the blue button. I've tried a few things but haven't been successful. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not very experienced with CSS, so it's possible that I'm overlooking something simple.

Thank you!

Answer №1

 #d_float_right a {display:inline-block;}

Answer №2

a {
 float: right;
}

Resolved. By converting the a element from inline to block, it should address the issue. Alternatively, setting display:block on a would also change it to a block element, but with each item on a separate line.

Answer №3

#d_float_right a {
    display: inline-block;
    float: right;
}
