Establishing the sizing of an element across various breakpoints

I'm having trouble setting up varying widths based on different breakpoints. For instance, the code below will be used for all breakpoints:

<nav class="navbar-nav w-75 ml-md-4">
... a select element
</nav>

But how do I enable w-100 for screens that are medium or larger in size?

Answer №1

The width utility classes do not have built-in responsiveness, meaning you would need to create a custom media query...

@media (min-width: 768px) {
  .w-md-100 {
     width:100% !important;
  }
}
