Can anyone explain why the background images aren't appearing correctly on iPhones and iPads?

I've been attempting to resolve the issues on this page for what seems like forever. The site in question is theafropick.co.uk. All devices seem to function properly except for iPads and iPhones, where the section with 6 tiles disappears entirely.

Seems like Safari is the only browser experiencing this issue. Check out this discussion where others are facing the same problem: Background image not showing in Safari

The thread offers various solutions, but even after attempting them using Safari's dev tools, they didn't work for me. If you're still having trouble, consider switching to a jpg file instead of a png.
