Bring your text to life with animated movement using HTML5 and/or CSS3

My goal is to have a snippet of text, like "Lorem Ipsum..." slide horizontally into a colored DIV quickly, then smoothly come to a slow stop, continue moving slowly, speed up again, and exit the DIV - all while staying within the boundaries of the DIV.

I am aware that this could be easily accomplished in Flash, but I am trying to steer clear of using it!

Is this task even achievable? It seems quite time-sensitive.

Answer №1

In my opinion, achieving this is achievable with the help of Javascript. One option to consider is exploring Adobe's latest HTML5 editor, known as Adobe Edge. While there were free trial versions available for a period of time, I am unsure if they are still being offered. Nonetheless, utilizing this tool should provide you with the necessary support to create the desired animation.
