Where is my image hiding on my website?

I've been struggling with this issue for a while now. Whenever I try to run my website, the images simply won't upload. Even though I can clearly see the file on the page.

Answer №1

It appears that index.html and your images are located in the same directory. You have two options: either remove images/ from your src='...' or move all images into the images folder and add images/ to href='favicon.ico'.

I hope this information proves useful.

Answer №2

It appears that your PNG files are currently located within the same directory as the HTML file, rather than being inside the designated images/ folder as you likely intended. To resolve this issue, consider moving the images into the correct folder.

Answer №3

If your index.html file is located within the images folder, use "mountain.png" as the src attribute for the image. If this setup is incorrect, move your index.html out of the images folder and update the src attribute to "./images/mountain.png"
