When bullet points are aligned in the middle of wrapped text instead of the top line

When using bullet points on my Joomla site for a long sentence that wraps to multiple lines, I noticed that the bullets align with the middle of the wrapped text rather than staying flush with the top line. For example, if the text wraps to 3 lines, the bullet point ends up aligning with the 2nd line.

I would like the bullet points to always align with the top line, regardless of how many lines the text wraps into. It can be confusing to determine where each new point begins otherwise!

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve this alignment?

Thank you in advance!

Answer №1

It seems like you might be experiencing alignment issues with the bullet points in your list items. One potential solution could be to use background images on the <li> elements and adjust the positioning by adding background-position: top in your CSS.

Alternatively, creating custom bullets using pseudo elements like :before and :after can offer more control over their placement.

If the suggestions above don't resolve your issue, consider sharing your code or a JS Fiddle for further assistance.
