What is the best way to center a Checkbox in HTML5 and CSS?

I've been struggling to center my Checkbox with label on my current website project. Despite searching online for solutions, I'm still unable to find the right method!

If you're curious, you can check out the source code of my webpage at (Make sure to load it on your mobile phone since the CSS is specifically designed for mobile view only).

Answer №1

Although not HTML5, this solution is effective:

http://jsfiddle.net/gYCQz/

CSS styling used:

input
{
  display: inline;
}
body
{
  text-align: center;
}

Compatible with HTML4 and newer versions:

<input type="checkbox" value="Test" />&nbsp;Test

Answer №2

If you want to place a checkbox in the center, you can utilize the following code:

<div>
<input type="checkbox" value="Test" />
<div>

Afterwards, you have the flexibility to align the checkbox using text-align (right, left, or center) as per your preference. Additionally, you can also use the following code:

<div align="center">

</div>

Remember to remove margin-bottom from all tags and specify width and height for proper alignment.
