What is preventing Google Chrome from automatically breaking?

I seem to have made a mistake in this document, but I can't quite pinpoint what it is. There isn't much content in here yet as I am still in the process of building it for a WB. Interestingly, it works in Internet Explorer but not in Google Chrome.

Is there anyone who can take a look at the source code and help me identify any errors?

I am looking to create a line break using a long <span>, turning the <span> into a <pre>, and having the <pre> automatically break lines as well. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

To fix the overflow issue, you can try using the CSS property word-wrap: break-word; on your div. This solution has worked for me when testing on Chrome.

For a broader compatibility across multiple browsers, an alternative approach would be to insert zero-width spaces &#8203; at specific points within the long string. This method is recommended in a different answer found here: (especially useful for scenarios where long strings without spaces are involved).
