What could be causing my page to appear at different heights in Safari and Firefox compared to Chrome?

I've been working on www.rootologyhealth.com and I'm stumped by the strange behavior of the Nav Bar on the homepage. It's positioned too high in Safari and Firefox, but appears perfectly in Chrome. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, I can't pinpoint the root cause of this issue. I suspect it may be related to the stylesheet, although the styles I've applied are basic and shouldn't be causing such discrepancies.

Answer №1

In my experience, the layout is glitchy in Chrome 21 but works fine in Firefox 14 on Windows 7.

While experimenting with the developer tools in Chrome, I noticed that by removing div#top-menu from div.container, it no longer hovers above the visible part of the browser window. This adjustment may result in a spacing issue between the elements and the large advertisement, but resolving this should be relatively straightforward.
