Troubleshooting CSS problems with positioning 3 fluid div elements

I am in need of 3 dynamic div containers.

  1. container for main content
  2. image display container that changes size
  3. container on the side with changing width

The issue I am facing is that the text needs to be below the image container which has a wider width than the sidebar container. Please see this image for a better understanding of my problem. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Answer №1

It's fairly straightforward – all you have to do is use clear:right to create room for the content on the right side. You can see the exact outcome in this fiddle that mirrors your image: http://jsfiddle.net/rigids/3h8Pj/
