There seems to be some extra white space on the right side of the website, but only when

Welcome to Byenicotine.com

I recently encountered an issue with white space appearing on the right side of my webpage. After attempting to fix it by adding overflow-x:hidden, the problem was resolved in all browsers except for when using Chrome on mobile devices.

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this?

Answer №1

Perhaps there is an element with a fixed width of 400px causing whitespace on the right side of your webpage. Use the inspect element feature in your browser to identify and correct this issue.

  1. Open the developer tools (F12 or right click > Inspect element)
  2. Select the responsive viewer (usually found in the upper left corner on Chrome)
  3. Inspect the white area to determine which element is extending beyond its boundaries and adjust it in the CSS code
