The collapse feature of Bootstrap 5 navbar is experiencing delays

Can anyone assist me with the bootstrap navbar collapse issue I am facing? When I click on the burger menu, there is a slight delay of less than a second before it fully expands. Additionally, if I click very quickly multiple times on the burger icon, the x icon animation gets delayed and changes to the closed icon rather than the expected behavior of remaining as the burger icon. This can be frustrating as I prefer a bit of delay in my nav collapse. Please take a look at the live version of my website at the following link:

Answer №1

In my recent update, I included "ul" within the nav-collapse, resulting in the code snippet being

.navbar-collapse ul { height: 100vh; }
. The key fix here is to specifically target and set the height of the ul element to 100vh, rather than the entire navbar-collapse component.
