Is there a way to display list items vertically in multiple columns using only a single ul
? I need the output to look like:
a e i
b f j
c g
d h
Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

From my understanding, the best method to achieve this is by utilizing the CSS property column-count
:
ul {
column-count: 3;
}
It's important to note that this approach is compatible with modern browsers only and may need vendor prefixes such as -webkit-column-count.
Using float, inline, or inline-block will result in a different rendering order.
