iOS datetime-local height adjustment

I have added a datetime-local input field to my website that is accessed through my mobile phone. However, I am facing an issue where the datetime-local field is positioned higher than the other textboxes in the row. This creates an awkward offset, as shown in the image. I am seeking a solution to adjust the height of the datetime-local field so that it aligns perfectly with the rest of the textboxes.

Answer №1

After figuring out the solution independently, I wanted to share it with others who may be experiencing the same issue with the html5 version of mobile datetimepickers:

In the case of the iPhone and Android datetime-local, the vertical-align property is initially set to top. By resetting it to vertical-align:bottom;, you can ensure that it aligns perfectly with the rest of the textboxes on your webpage.
