In which specific location within the Bootstrap CSS files can the `footer` class be found?

Being new to coding, I've grasped HTML and CSS classes and am now delving into Bootstrap.

Despite my efforts, I can't seem to locate the footer class in any of the Bootstrap CSS files like bootstrap.css.

Similarly, I'm having trouble finding the class for jumbotron as well. Am I overlooking something obvious here? I really want to customize their appearances.

Thank you! Apologies if my formatting isn't ideal, as this is my first time posting on Stack Overflow.

Answer №1

you may come across

footer and jumbotron

features in bootstrap 4, however, in bootstrap 5 these specific component classes have been removed.

for a list of other removed classes, refer to the official bootstrap 5 documentation website

https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.0/migration/

Answer №2

It appears that BootStrap 5 does not have a class called footer. And even if it does, it seems unnecessary as the footer is typically a unique element in a document. Can you share the context of your code? The closest class I could find is page-footer in the BootStrap documentation

Answer №3

While BootStrap 4 included classes like footer and jumbotron, these seem to have been eliminated in BootStrap 5.
