Hosting services and content management system for a website built with Twitter Bootstrap

Embarking on a new venture to create a website for a Custom Home Building company, I am eager to learn and grow in web development. Although I have some programming experience, please bear with me as I ask my newbie questions.

I have been searching high and low for answers to my queries without much luck...

My plan is to utilize Twitter's Bootstrap for the design of the website, focusing mainly on images, videos, a contact page, and portfolio - keeping it simple. I intend to kickstart the process by purchasing a Bootstrap theme from "wrapbootstrap" and then customize it. Has anyone had success using Bootstrap themes before? Does this strategy sound like a good one?

Although I will be working with the Bootstrap theme, my concern lies with content management. I want to allow the client to easily change images, edit text, and make modifications. Is it common practice to provide clients with a Content Management System (CMS) for such tasks, or is this unconventional?

One final inquiry - I'm considering hosting the website on GoDaddy. Are there any specific requirements that the chosen host must meet to support a Bootstrap site, or can I easily upload it to a GoDaddy server?

Your guidance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Did you know that GoDaddy is known for having unreliable and slow hosting services? Understanding what Bootstrap is can greatly benefit you when creating a website. It consists of html, css, and jQuery, making it compatible with most web hosts. However, if you are using a CMS, you need to consider specific requirements such as php 5+, image manipulation, RAM, and more when choosing a host.

If you have a good understanding of your CMS, as well as html, CSS, and jQuery, you can easily customize a pre-existing theme or create your own website layout by adding tags, loops, menus, footers, headers, and other elements. Many developers opt for using a CMS to allow clients the ability to update their site content. Wordpress developers often design admin themes in html, css, and php to simplify the updating process for their clients.

Additionally, there are hosted CMS systems available that come equipped with various functions like galleries and blogs. Be sure to explore your options when selecting a platform for your website.
