In my bootstrap static design, the cover image appears fine. However, upon converting to WordPress using the underscore theme, I encountered an issue. I inspected the element but couldn't find any WordPress/underscore styles causing the problem.

I am unsure of what steps to take next. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Neil is absolutely right in his response. It's essential that we have the code to assist you further.

There are numerous methods for achieving CSS background covering the entire screen:

You may want to consider using this snippet of CSS:

background: url("insert your image URL here") no-repeat center;
background-size: cover;

Answer №2

In order to provide assistance, we will need the code. However, it seems like your background is contained within a div or the body tag that has a small height. Try adjusting the height to 100% or setting the background on the html tag (which should be at least 100% height) to resolve the issue.
