Focusing solely on the presence of lowercase characters within the text field

Is it possible to apply a different color to lowercase letters in a text area?

I am looking to highlight all lowercase letters in red while keeping the uppercase letters black.

It is impossible to achieve this using a textarea element. The reason being:

  • You would have to use JavaScript to enclose your lowercase letters.
  • Text within a textarea is not treated as code but as plain text, resulting in something like this: "Hey, this is my text"
