Enhance your Coda experience with custom Jade and Stylus syntax highlighting!

Has anyone successfully tried using both Haml and Less? I attempted to use them since they are similar, but unfortunately had no luck. The Less one appeared in modes, while the Haml one didn't even show up.

I also added the file type in the preferences window, but still had no luck. Any suggestions?

Answer №1

Last week, I developed a new syntax mode for jade. You can find it on GitHub.

I've also submitted it to be included on the Coding Monkeys website as suggested by @adam-soffer.

While it's still a work in progress, this new mode is already proving to be very helpful. I plan on making improvements and would greatly appreciate any feedback you could provide via GitHub issues.

Check out this comprehensive list of third party Coda-compatible syntax modes that you can download:

It seems like nobody has created one for Jade yet. Who is willing to take on the challenge? :)

Answer №3

A new addition to Coda 2 is the open source jade syntax mode, courtesy of Aaron McCall and Tom Stoecklein. In addition, Tom has also created a stylus syntax mode for Coda 2.

For more information on the jade syntax mode, visit this link.

To access the stylus syntax mode, check out this repository.
