Content does not display within a list element (ul)

I am attempting to display captions beneath the thumbnail slider in list format. However, the text is not appearing unless I switch the <ul> tag to <div>. You can locate the thumbnail here. It is the first thumbnail. Much appreciated.

assign a font-size: 16px to your <p>

when checking in the developer tools, the calculated font size for <p> is showing as 0px, which is why your text is not appearing
