Change the style of the opacity_OVERRIDE

Looking for some help here. I have a webpage located at . On this page, there is a semi-transparent div with an opacity set to 0.7. I want to change the opacity of the images on this page, but I am having trouble creating a style that will override the existing opacity. It seems that I can only make the images more transparent, not less. Can anyone provide guidance on how to achieve this?

Appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

Answer №1

It seems like you're looking for a solution where the background is transparent but the images and text are not affected. You can achieve this by using the rgba style in your CSS, rather than using opacity.

#contentbg {
    background:rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.7);
}

Simply replace the 255 values with the RGB values of the color you want your background to be. This way, your background will have some level of transparency while keeping the images and text unaffected.

My go-to solution in situations like this is to open up Photoshop and tweak the opacity levels of images, and occasionally adjust solid colors as needed.
