Can you guide me on where to find the login with Facebook button on this site?

I am currently working on integrating a Facebook authentication system into my app, but I find the default log in button provided by Facebook developers section to be quite unappealing.

My Question:

I am curious about how websites like Stack Overflow manage to have such a sleek "log in with Facebook" button. If you log out of this site and then try to sign up or log in again, you'll notice the button (right next to the red Google + button). Do they create it themselves?

Answer №1

Sure, if you're looking to save time, there are premade social buttons available for use. Check out this link for Bootstrap's version:

Customizing the buttons is simple; just make edits to their respective CSS files.

If you prefer, you can create your own social buttons using pure CSS.

How to Use:

Firstly, add the CDN link to your header:

<link rel="stylesheet"href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/bootstrap-social/4.9.1/bootstrap-social.min.css" />

Next, place the button in your design and assign an onClick() function to direct it somewhere:

<button type="button" class="btn btn-social btn-facebook" onclick="location.href='SOME PATH'">
  <i class="fa fa-facebook"></i>Sign In With Facebook
</button>
