Adjustments in margins for printed HTML may vary from page to page in Internet Explorer versions 8 to 11

One challenge I'm facing is with a user-generated report page that is typically printed. There seems to be an unusual bug occurring specifically in Internet Explorer. The layout of the page consists of tables within various divs, all aligned perfectly on the website. However, when printing through IE, each page ends up "shrinking" slightly more than the previous one. It's possible that the margins are somehow expanding, but the relative font sizes and table proportions remain accurate as they scale down along with the pages. I attempted to disable the shrink-to-fit option, but unfortunately, that didn't resolve the issue. Wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar bug? I've been scouring for solutions, yet most of the suggested fixes haven't provided a remedy.

Answer №1

Upon reviewing your webpage, it appears that the page shrinking issue may be attributed to excess space at the bottom of the page.
