I'm in need of assistance to understand why the pull down menus (buildings, BV Mail) on certain pages are appearing as transparent while on others they are not.

It seems that the elements are not appearing with a semi-transparent effect.

The problem may be related to the z-index property of the menu.

You can attempt to resolve this issue by including the following code within #p7menubar li ul:

#p7menubar li ul {
    z-index: 1;
}
