What is the method for locating the background color within the html code on the Reddit platform?

I've been on a mission to uncover the elusive background color that rules the Reddit website. Despite my efforts in inspecting elements and identifying potential background layers, changing them did not alter the overall background color. There must be a straightforward method to pinpoint the background color that governs the website. (Specifically, I am focused on locating the background color for dark mode on the AskReddit subreddit).

I have experimented with inspect element, DreamWeaver, SeaMonkey, and page source, but the answer continues to elude me.

Answer №1

To reveal hidden elements on a website, simply access the inspect element tool and navigate through the HTML code until the desired section is highlighted. In this case, the section is highlighted in green, making it easy to spot. By locating the corresponding CSS class, changes can be made accordingly.
