Visit to see that the Nivo Slider is not properly centered on the background. I am unsure why this is happening. (Please disregard the 2nd and 3rd pictures as they are not the correct size, but focus on the 1st one).
Visit to see that the Nivo Slider is not properly centered on the background. I am unsure why this is happening. (Please disregard the 2nd and 3rd pictures as they are not the correct size, but focus on the 1st one).
There are two paths you can take...
a: Follow the intended purpose of the software by using images of the exact size.
b: Opt to eliminate the border style and drop shadow from the slider itself, and instead add them to the image. Then utilize some CSS styling to center the image.
#slider img{
margin-left:0 auto;
margin-right:0 auto;
}
In essence, conceal all elements of the slider div and solely focus on centering the images inside. It may seem unconventional, but if that's your desired outcome, go for it!
The issue lies in the image dimensions being utilized as a Background Image by the nivoSlider, rather than being resized like with an img tag or centered. The image itself is 830x302 px while the nivoSlider container size is 838x311 px, thus explaining the discrepancy that you are observing.
The reason for this issue is that the Nivo Slider plugin has predetermined width and height settings which none of your images are able to fully occupy. Not a single image fills the slider completely.
Although the first image comes close, it still falls short, resulting in empty space on the right side and at the bottom of the slider element.
