sIFR version 3.6 - Hyperlink not functioning in Opera browser - appearing as plain text in Internet Explorer

I am experiencing a challenge with sIFR in Opera and IE. In Opera, the link is not functioning properly, while in Internet Explorer sIFR does not appear at all, displaying only regular text.

This issue does not occur in either Firefox or Google Chrome.

What could be causing this problem and how can I avoid it? I only apply sIFR to span classes that are enclosed within a link or other tags.

Answer №1

Alright, I found the issue - there was a misplaced comma after the last property inside the curly braces that Internet Explorer did not appreciate. Now, sIFR is functioning properly in all browsers except for links. Unfortunately, sIFR links are still non-functional in Opera, and now that they're displayed as sIFR, the links aren't working in IE either.

Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
