Occasionally, the letters in Google Fonts get jumbled up when refreshing the page, but

During our development process on localhost, we've come across a peculiar issue with Google Fonts. Every now and then, when refreshing the page, the letters in the text become jumbled up. This seems to happen randomly, about once every 5 refreshes. The images below illustrate how the scrambled letters appear compared to how they should look.

Interestingly, when the letters are jumbled, opening the inspector and toggling off the font-family property before turning it back on seems to fix the issue and display the correct letter order again.

We haven't experienced this problem when deploying to a live server. Has anyone else faced this same issue?

I've only encountered this problem in Google Chrome, not in Firefox or Safari.

Have you ever encountered issues with Django and the debug toolbar? We faced a similar issue where weird font styles appeared when using the debug toolbar. Disabling it resolved the problem for us, but we're unsure of the root cause. I'm considering reaching out to the toolbar developers to address this issue.
