Modifying the appearance of scoped child components in Vue: A step-by-step guide

I am currently using vant ui components in my Vue project, such as buttons. I would like to make some minor style adjustments, like changing the color and border, but I am unsure how to do it. Can anybody please assist me in solving this issue? Thank you in advance!

I have attempted adding CSS and inline styles to the element, but it seems to not be working!

It is possible to customize the CSS of any specific component by using a deep selector

For more information, check out this GitHub reference: https://github.com/vuejs/vue-loader/issues/913

To achieve this, use ::v-deep instead of /deep/ as it will soon be deprecated.

You can learn more about deep selectors here: Deep Selector

Just inspect the class of the generated element that you wish to adjust using browser developer tools like Chrome DevTools or any other console.

Once identified, modify it within your consuming component.

<style scoped>
::v-deep vant-component-class {
   background: red; //
}
</style>
