Issue with input type="number" functionality in firefox

I have encountered an issue with the input type "number" in HTML. It appears perfectly fine in Chrome version 66, but not in Firefox version 60. The differences are visible below:

Display in Google Chrome:

Display in Mozilla Firefox:

Does anyone know how to resolve this display discrepancy in Firefox?

Thank you for your help!

Answer №1

Customize the appearance of user-forms in Chrome and Firefox by creating your own unique visual styles using CSS.

To prevent default browser styles from interfering with your design, use CSS to define specific looks for elements like input[type="number"]. For example:

input[type="number"] {
   // Customize the style here to fit your design
   border: 1px solid black;
   width: 50px;
   height: 30px;
}
