Is there a similar function to -moz-linear-gradient in Chrome?

My button's CSS includes

background: -moz-linear-gradient(center top, #59a1d8, #27247D) repeat scroll 0 0 #0f78c7;
, which works well in Mozilla Firefox. However, it does not display properly in the Chrome browser. Can someone suggest an equivalent code for Chrome?

Thank you, nehatha

Answer №1

background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0%,#4096ee), color-stop(100%,#4096ee));
// Works in Chrome and Safari.

background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, #1e5799 0%,#2989d8 50%,#207cca 51%,#7db9e8 100%); /* Compatible with Chrome and Safari */

An excellent tool for creating cross-browser compatible gradients.

Answer №2

-moz-linear-gradient(center top , #59a1d8, #27247D) repeat scroll 0 0 #0f78c7;

Answer №3

In my opinion, the correct choice would be -webkit-linear-gradient
