One effective solution to get rid of the unsightly outline on your links in an image map is by setting the style 'outline: 0;' for all of them.

You can achieve this by using the following code:

a, area {
    outline: 0;
}

By implementing this code, you will eliminate the unattractive outline that appears around clicked links on your website.
