Integrates an interactive feature within the select tag (<select>)

I'm struggling with creating a drop-down menu using the <select> element. My goal is to have a question mark (?) displayed next to each option in the menu, which will provide a brief explanation when hovered over. You can see an example of what I mean in the image linked below. If anyone has any ideas on how to achieve this, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you! https://i.sstatic.net/sre65.png

Regrettably, utilizing a basic <select> and options does not allow for that functionality. Instead, consider using a <div> as a dropdown or <ul>. Alternatively, you might want to explore "custom select box plugin" options on search engines like Google.
