Incorporating SASS/SCSS syntax within the <style> element

Can I include SASS/SCSS syntax directly in an .html file within a style tag? I'm interested in defining a variable within the .html file and then utilizing it in a .sass file.

Answer №1

To put it plainly, the answer is No. SASS serves as a CSS preprocessor, enabling you to incorporate variables in your CSS. You can achieve this by directly applying the variable to a class within the head section of your document. Ensure that it is included on your page after the SCSS output to overwrite any existing settings for that CSS style.

Answer №2

Does not conform to standard HTML layout ..

When I incorporate it into a Vue template, I include sass like this:

<style lang="scss">
    /* SCSS code goes here ._. */
</style>
