How can you adjust the height of the Bootstrap Carousel component?

In the image below, the blue section indicates the triggering area of the bootstrap carousel. This screenshot was taken from the official Bootstrap documentation.

I am interested in adjusting the height of the triggering region, for example, changing it from 100% of the carousel height to 50%. Could you please advise me on how to make this modification?

Thank you in advance.

Answer №1

To address this issue, simply adjust the attributes of .carousel-control-prev and .carousel-control-prev in the CSS.

.carousel-control-prev,
.carousel-control-next {
  height: 25%;
  top: 37.5%;
};

          </a>
        </div>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</body>

I can't explain why the top attribute didn't take effect in the example. However, it functions as expected in my project.
