How can I resize an image to fit at the bottom of the screen, similar to a footer?

Currently, the image is not spanning the entire width of the screen

I've looked into various solutions for similar issues, but they always end up aligning the image to the right or left and increasing its size. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm still learning as a student and beginner in coding.

Answer №1

To achieve a full-width image in your design, consider utilizing the background-size: cover; property in your CSS. While this method offers flexibility, it may result in cutting off parts of the image depending on screen size and container height. You can tweak this using the background-position property in CSS for a better fit.

Answer №2

Simply apply background-size:cover; to resolve this issue
