Examining website design on an IOS device from a Windows computer

Is there a way for me to test HTML files from Windows on iOS8 (Local Files)? I have tried Adobe Edge Inspect, but it only works with servers. Are there any free cloud hosts that allow for HTML, CSS, and JS files?

Edit: I apologize if my question was not clear. I am using Windows 8.1 on my computer and would like to test my HTML files on my iPhone running iOS8.

Answer №1

Your question seems to indicate that you are using IOS8 operating system and running Windows on a Virtual Machine. To get your website up and running, simply download XAMPP software, start it, and add your files to the XAMPP directory located at C:\xampp\htdocs\. Next, open your browser and enter either localhost:80 or 127.0.0.1, depending on the port you have defined. For more information, check out this helpful link and also take a look at this one.
