Encase a component with a personalized class of my own creation

X-editable showcases the use of default checkboxes, demonstrated in this example.

My goal is to encapsulate the template responsible for creating the checklist within a custom class (<div class="...) that will style the elements according to my preferences.

Exploring the themes section in the source code did not provide much guidance.

How can I go about accomplishing this?

One way that may not be ideal is modifying the source code directly. For instance, the checklist templates can be found in line 3225 of the code. If you decide to make changes there to suit your requirements, proceed with caution.
