Conceal certain profile details on the Profile Page using the Lamba Theme

Seeking assistance from the community here.

Currently using Moodle version 3.8+, paired with the Lambda theme, I have a query to address.

Specifically on the Profile Page, I aim to eliminate certain elements. Typically, I would apply additional CSS with a display: none property to hide different elements, but I'm encountering difficulty as all elements are labeled as contentnode. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

My goal is to remove the message "Please verify that you are over the age of 13 years old."

Any insights? If more details are needed or if the request isn't clear, please inform me.

Answer №1

To access the user profile fields, navigate to Site administration > Users > Accounts > User profile fields

You can make edits to the field labeled "Please verify ..."

Within the settings, you will find an option for determining "Who is this field visible to"

Consider changing the visibility setting to "Visible to user" - this will restrict viewing access to only the user and site administrators.
