Companimation Woes: CSS3 Animations Not Triggering Unless Loaded

I am currently utilizing Mike Fowler's companimation library for Compass, but unfortunately, I am encountering an issue where my animations are not functioning properly in Firefox (even though they work perfectly in Chrome). The problem arises when elements are shown or hidden using jQuery, as the animation fails to trigger.

Additionally, I have created a plugin using this library which incorporates animations, and you can check it out here. Any assistance on resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Using JQueryKeyframes has been a game changer for me. Don't hesitate to give it a try!

Find more information at: https://github.com/jQueryKeyframes/jQuery.Keyframes

The best part is that you can completely customize the function to suit your needs.

$('selector').playKeyframe({
    name: "keyframe_name",
    duration: time*1000,
    timingFunction: 'linear',
    delay: 0,
    //repeat: 0,
    direction: 'normal',
    fillMode: 'forwards',
    complete: function(){

        $('selector').css('-webkit-animation', '');
    }
});
