Combining LESS with cultural designations

Currently working on a multi-lingual website project and facing the challenge of switching out CSS based on different languages. I am passing the culture code into the page and exploring ways to use it to reference specific selectors for each language. Has anyone utilized LESS for this purpose? Any tips or tutorials would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Although I haven't utilized it for internationalization before, one efficient way to customize styles is by incorporating your .culture-code class into the <html> element like this:

 /* default */
 body {
  background:white;
 }

/* these rules only affect the body when your culture code class is added to the page */
.culture-code body {
  background:red;
}
.culture-code-2 body {
  background:blue;
}

If you plan on having drastically different stylesheets for each culture code, consider creating separate less stylesheets named after the corresponding culture codes. You can then use your backend language to import the appropriate stylesheet. However, it's best to keep modifications minimal for smoother implementation : )
