Bootstrap - Unintentionally triggering automatic scrolling on the page

Recently, a strange issue has started occurring on my website. I haven't made any changes to the index that could have caused it. When using the regular web address, the page automatically scrolls down. But when I type in www.domain.uk/#, everything works perfectly. Any suggestions for fixing this peculiar problem? Apologies for the rookie question! :D

Answer №1

The issue may arise from editing a Bootstrap template. Certain templates contain scrolling functionalities that become ineffective once customized. It is recommended to review the template's Javascript files for any scroll-related scripts and either rectify or delete them.
