Currently, I am delving into the realm of popular CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation. While studying them, I have identified aspects that I believe could be enhanced and customized to suit my own projects or potentially for free distribution in the future. Although I excel at front-end development, I must admit that JavaScripts can sometimes slow me down.
During my exploration, I encountered challenges in developing a new CSS framework, including:
- Integration of JavaScripts to achieve a polished and user-friendly front-end design
- Establishing common and universal values for a fixed layout
- Designing the menu CSS
In addition, some features like responsive grids caught my attention but proved to be slightly challenging. Despite these hurdles, I ask myself: what criteria should a CSS framework meet?
