After researching extensively, I am eager to use a plugin that combines jQuery and flash to record a video using the system's Webcam. I came across scriptcam, but unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the plugin hangs on document load and the live stream freezes after capturing the first image.
Is there anyone out there who can recommend a reliable plugin that effectively captures videos using the webcam and stores them securely?
For those interested, check out RecordRTC. Keep in mind that it lacks a Flash fallback option, which could limit browser compatibility.
